WHAT CONDITIONS DOES A PSYCHIATRIST TREAT?
A psychiatrist can treat Anxiety, Depression, Bipolar Disorder, Schizophrenia, PTSD, Panic Disorder, ADD, and Substance Use Disorder.
WHAT TREATMENTS CAN BE PRESCRIBED?
Most medications can be prescribed online.
WHAT IF I AM FEELING STRESSED ABOUT COVID-19?
A potentially life-threatening illness, and/or quarantine and social isolation can lead to anxiety and depression. We do offer telepsychiatry services for evaluation and treatment of these symptoms by a board-certified psychiatrist
DO I NEED A REFERRAL?
Most insurances have waived the referral requirements during the COVID-19 Pandemic emergency. Contact your insurance carrier to find out if you’ll need a referral to visit our office.
HOW MUCH WILL IT COST ME?
Depending upon your insurance, it will cost you $199 or less to see a psychiatrist for the initial visit. Subsequent visits are $99 or less depending on your insurance.
WHICH INSURANCES DO YOU ACCEPT?
Currently we accept Medicare, Tricare, and Cigna. We are working with insurances to cover telepsychiatry services.
DO I HAVE A COPAY?
It depends on your insurance.
HOW LONG IS THE CONSULT?
A typical initial consult will last 45 minutes. Subsequent visits are 15-30 minutes.
ARE FOLLOW-UP VISITS AVAILABLE?
Yes, follow-up and recurring visits are available.
WHAT PAYMENTS METHODS DO YOU ACCEPT?
We accept all major credit cards, Care Credit, and SquareCredit.
DO YOU PRESCRIBE CONTROLLED SUBSTANCES?
Generally speaking, a patient must be physically examined before a controlled substance can be prescribed via telemedicine. The Covid-19 national emergency prompted federal regulations to be relaxed; and therefore, controlled substances can currently be prescribed via telemedicine. However, the decision will be made on a case-by-case basis by the psychiatrist.
CAN I RECEIVE THERAPY VIA TELEPSYCHIATRY/TELEMEDICINE?
Yes, you may receive psychotherapy via telepsychiatry services. The services can be provided either by the psychiatrist or by another behavioral health specialist.
DO YOU OFFER MEDICATION ASSISTED THERAPY?
Yes, MAT can be offered via telepsychiatry.
DO YOU OFFER SUBOXONE?
Yes, our providers are certified in Suboxone therapy.
