Shivam Dubey, M.D.
Shivam Dubey, M.D., is Board Certified in Adult Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN).
He completed his adult psychiatry training at Harvard Medical School’s psychiatry residency program (Harvard South Shore Psychiatry Residency Program). While in training, he was awarded the Best Research Paper Award for his paper on Human Development. At Harvard, he developed his clinical skills in a wide range of psychiatric diagnoses, such as ADHD, depression & anxiety disorders, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Bipolar Disorder, Schizophrenia, psychosis, and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. Dr. Dubey participated in research studies on various treatment approaches for PTSD, including Yoga and Cognitive Processing Therapy, during his work at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and National Center of PTSD at Veteran Affairs Boston Health Care System. Dr. Dubey also has expertise in treating patients with substance use disorder and dual diagnosis; and he has been certified to treat patients with Buprenorphine (Suboxone). Dr. Dubey has a passion for Integrated Psychiatry; and he has knowledge of modern psychiatry along with alternative modalities including meditation, yoga, and functional medicine.
Dr. Dubey has extensive experience as a psychiatrist; he has practiced psychiatry in Massachusetts, Indiana, and California. He is currently on staff as a psychiatrist at Otis R Bowen Center in Warsaw, IN, and Santa Clara Valley Medical center in San Jose, CA. Dr. Dubey is also a Clinical Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at Indiana University School of Medicine. Dr. Dubey is a fellow of American Psychiatric Association (APA) and member of the American Society of Adolescent Psychiatry.
